Privacy policy

Last updated:

E AND E IMMIGRATION LIMITED (NZBN 9429052959929), trading as E&E Immigration, takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who may handle it, and how you can ask to access or correct it. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Information you give us

If you use our enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and message. Please include only information needed for us to respond. Do not send passports, medical or police records, financial documents, or other sensitive documents through the website form.

Information collected when you use the site

Our website and service providers may process technical information such as your IP address, pages viewed, referring website, browser, device, and approximate location. We use this information to operate and secure the website, prevent spam, and understand site use.

We use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, for website analytics and session replay. Analytics may use cookies or similar browser storage to distinguish visits. Session recordings are configured to mask form inputs, and the enquiry form and confirmation are excluded from recording. Analytics does not receive the contents of your enquiry. We do not use these analytics to identify you by name.

Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the enquiry form from spam. It may process device and browser information, including your IP address, under Cloudflare's privacy terms.

How we use enquiry information

We use enquiry details to respond to you and, if you ask us to, discuss immigration advisory services. Submitting an enquiry does not itself create an adviser-client relationship. We do not sell personal information or use it to serve advertising.

Who handles information

Enquiries are sent to E&E Immigration by email using Resend. The website is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare also provides Turnstile, and PostHog provides analytics and session replay. These providers may process information outside New Zealand, including in the United States or European Union. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas disclosures are handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

We may also disclose information with your authority, to provide a service you request, or when required or permitted by law.

Retention and security

We aim to retain enquiries that do not become client matters for up to two years, then delete them. If you become a client, information relevant to your matter may be kept for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal or professional obligations. Website analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. These periods depend on our email and analytics providers' deletion and retention controls.

We take reasonable safeguards to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, use, modification, or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You can choose not to provide information, though we may then be unable to respond to an enquiry. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Analytics is disabled when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

You may ask for access to personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact our privacy officer atenquiries@eandeimmigration.co.nz. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner atprivacy.org.nz.
